Tired and Run Down
I’m tired. Ever been there? Exhausted beyond description? That’s me and that is my wife and family right now. If you don’t know me, I am a Type A, laid back personality. Say what???? Listen, I love to have my list and get things accomplished, but I have also in the last few years learned to enjoy just sitting and listening to nature while my dog plays his version of catch and then run around for a few minutes like a nut job before bringing the ball back to do it all over again. Life is full and I am reminded to “not grow weary in doing good.” Yeah, about that….it is not that we are weary with the doing good part. We love our ministry, we love our church, we love the people we work with, we love our children, our neighborhood but, frankly, we would also love a night of dreamless, refreshing sleep. So here is something that I am going to do that goes against everything in my type A mentality. I am going to stop some things over the next few months. I will likely come to the
